Yesterday evening we arrived in Las Vegas! But while most may come to Vegas to play, we came to do some closet cleanouts! Last night however, we spent getting settled and had a little time to explore our awesome hotel, The Cosmopolitan. We ate at Jaleo, and found hidden oddities throughout the hotel. Take a look!
On Tuesday I went on a quick trip back to my hometown in Kansas, where I got to visit my old high school. They gave me such a nice, warm welcome! There was a big sign for me out front, and they gave me a very thoughtful gift basket when I left, it was a great time! Before I got there they watched House of Consignment, and then I gave a speech and took questions after. I also got to reconnect with two of my former teachers. It was so nice to go back, thank y0u Olathe East!

I’m in New York City for a few days, and I wanted to share some of the fun Bridget and I are having in between work. We started yesterday with a rickshaw ride and then made our way to Bergdorf’s for lunch. While at Bergdorf’s I happened to find a new pair of Louboutins for the summer, check them out below! No trip to New York is complete for me without a stop at Dylan’s Candy Bar, one of my favorites! Loved the windows at Louis Vuitton, perfect for Spring. We finished off day one with dinner at Soho House, the perfect end to a very busy day!
I’m excited to share my experience from my very first New York Fashion Week! I got to do a little bit of everything, which made for a very busy trip! From sitting front row to doing closet clean outs, it was all very fun and exciting. I was backstage at Pamella Roland, where I bumped into Nigel Barker, and I ran into Vera Wang on the street! There’s also a couple of shots I got of Victoria Beckham (looking very stylish) going into a show. On top of all that, this is also the episode where you get to meet my boyfriend, Spiro. When it comes to choosing a lip color I almost always go for something bright and bold, but after seeing Christian Siriano’s Fall 2012 show, he’s inspired by to try something a little darker. I combined Mac’s “Most Popular” lipstick with Chanel “Eclipse” gloss to achieve this dark, yet subtle lip. Very excited to branch out with my lip color options!
